  9. GobIt! is a simple Drag 'n' Drop utility for extracting or recombining the GOB
  10. files used by Dark Forces.  It does not do any further conversions on the
  11. extracted files - you'll need to find other utilities to do that.

  42. How to use GobIt!
  43. ==============================================================

  45. To extract a GOB file:
  46.  
  47.     * Drag the file (e.g SPRITES.GOB) onto the GobIt! icon.  A new folder will be
  48.      created containing the extracted files.  The folder has the same name as the
  49.      input file, but with a ƒ appended (e.g.   SPRITES.GOB  -> SPRITES.GOB ƒ ).

  51.      NOTES: GobIt! will only extract one GOB file at a time.

  53.  To create a GOB file:
  54.  
  55.     * Select all the files to combine into a GOB file, and drag them all at the
  56.      same time onto the GobIt! icon.  You will be prompted for the output file
  57.      name which must be in PC format with a .GOB extension (8 uppercase
  58.      chars + ".GOB").
  59.  
  60.      NOTES: Make sure all your input files have PC format filenames.

  63. During extraction/creation a window will display the percentage of files
  64. currently processed, and the number of bytes still to process in the current
  65. file.  Pressing space will pause/unpause the processing.   Cmd-Q quits.
